PenPalz

We are a 3rd year recreational mixed Ultimate team comprised of alumni from both Cal Berkeley and Cal Poly SLO. Brought together by two real-life penpals, we strive to bring friends together, both old and new! Whether we're down the street, across the state, or around the globe, we believe Ultimate is the best way to re-unite and celebrate friendships. During college everyone on our team played in the same Region and knew of one another. As the years passed, these friendships slowly started to grow. After college we wanted to continue playing ultimate with our friends despite the distance that separated some of us so we reunited to complete as PenPalz. Currently most of us reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and other parts of California, but every year we strive to join forces once again to play the sport that brought us all together. The majority of our players still compete during the USAU club season on high level teams and over half of our team has competed at College Nationals, Club Nationals, or both.
