During the offseason before the 2012 club season, several leaders in the New Jersey ultimate community got together and set out to bring a nationally competitive open team back to New Jersey. Afterall, this was where the sport was invented. After a name change a year later, Garden State Ultimate (GSU) was officially born. Our Windmill team (Galaxy Swag Universe) is primarily made up of players who are alumni of the GSU program.
