2019-02-23 05:15

The basics
At Windmill, we want to make sure that you enjoy every aspect of the tournament. This most definitely includes food. Our intention is to provide you with a few high quality meals during the tournament to ensure you stay fuelled for the games and nurtured for all the other events. We will also have a variety of snacks and hotdogs available for purchase throughout the day and don't forget to check out the variety of food vendors providing additional deliciousness such as lattes & fries.

Breakfast
Mom always said breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Be sure to get your butt out of bed for a great assortment of spreads for bread, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, muesli, juice, coffee, and tea. Breakfast will be served Friday at 8:00 and Saturday and Sunday at 7:00. Don’t forget to bring your own plate and cutlery! And maybe tupperware if you wanna pack some lunch too.

This past year Herbie has busy at culinary school learning how to cook. Herbie has opened his Breakfast Plus Club and will be working tirelessly every morning to serve bacon and eggs. Fried eggs: 1 euro, fried eggs + bacon: 2 euros. Get' em while they're hot!

Lunch

Please take extra sandwiches at breakfast to eat for lunch, you can also get some extra lunch options at Iggy Square. There are numerous delicious snacks.

As an added bonus, during the finals on Sunday, hamburgers and fries will be served in the stadium.

Friday & Saturday Dinner
Just as last year, dinner on both Friday and Saturday is included in the player fee and will be completely vegetarian or vegan
Dinner tickets are in your team bag. Bring your dinner ticket to Iggy Square and have your pick from the Italian, Arabic and Thai (vegan and allergy free) food stands.

Beer & Drinks
This year we will, as always, have beer and soft drinks! Woot! Please refrain from bringing your own beer and drinks and purchase them at the Iggy or beer pavilion!

Dietary Considerations?
If you are Vegan / Vegetarian fear not! There are plenty of vegan options available at breakfast, such as jams, peanut butter, bread, fruits, soy milk and cereals and for dinner, all the dinner options will be Vegan / vegetarians.

If you are Celiac / Gluten Intolerant fear not! There are gluten free options available at breakfast, such as yoghurt, fruits, eggs, cheese and dinner, such as a vegan vegetable curry with rice.

If you are Lactose Intolerant fear not! There are lactose free options available at breakfast, such as soy milk, fruits, eggs and dinner, such as vegan vegetable curry with rice.

If you have a Nut allergy fear not! Breakfast, just avoid the peanut butter. Check the dinner options, one of them will have no nuts.

If your dietary requirements are not listed above please contact us and we'll get our head food guy to discuss with you.
