PirU

We are Pirkanmaa United but you can call us PirU. We were born as the love child of Tampere's UFO and Lempäälä's LeKi back in the year 2016. These two old frisbee clubs decided to combine forces in order to finally grab the elusive Finnish Championship Trophy and to boost the competitive ultimate scene in the Pirkanmaa region. Both goals took a bit longer than initially planned but we finally won the Finnish Championship in 2019 for the first time. Soon we realized we also need to aim a bit higher and we started our project to reach top level of the European Ultimate scene. After a few difficult years we are back on track with our international ambitions. We are a team full of young rising stars (and well... a couple of old men who don't know when to quit playing competitively) and we enjoy playing hard and well spirited games.
